August is simply a brilliant time to be in Edinburgh.

The city’s population just about doubles as thousands of acts and visitors flock to the biggest arts, comedy  and culture festivals in the world.

The sheer vibrance and fun of Edinburgh at this time of year is something you can only experience by being here!

Steve, Callum and I spent a fabulous day last Sunday walking around town enjoying some of the dozens of street theatre acts throughout the day and we had a really great day out.  Lovely weather, great buzz around town and just a happy, fun place to be.

I just adore my home city!!  I don’t think I could ever leave Edinburgh!!

Steve took his camera as usual and here are a few photos from the day, with a couple of the more ‘eccentric’ street acts that we came across.

Have fun, and if you plan to come to Scotland you really MUST visit Edinburgh, the capital city and the best city in our wonderful country!!!
